I'm then going to choose the font family, I'm gonna use the same type palette we chose earlier, so Adele Sans is the heading. And we're gonna choose bold. And I'm gonna make it about 20 points. Let's go 18, 19, 20, there we go. Gonna make it pretty big and pretty bold, that way people can see it. So once I have that done I'm gonna go over here to indents and spacing, and in the indents and spacing I'm gonna make sure that the alignment is set to center. So it's centered right there in the middle of the column. And then I'm gonna give it a space after amount. Just about two clicks, something like that. Just to give it a little bit of breathing room. And once we're done there I'm gonna go to paragraph rules. This is not like a rule that you're setting up, this is like a rule, like a horizontal line that goes underneath. So I'm gonna choose rule below, turn it on, and then once I have that turned on I'm going to choose four points, and I'm going to make it the green color from our color theme that we had earlier. So once I have that done I may also increase the offset, which is down here at the bottom, so let's just increase that one click. 0.0625. And the last thing I'm going to do is I'm going to go to change the color of the text, so when I go back down here to character color I can change this to one of the deep reds that we have. So in this case let's just make it this kind of darker red color. You can see what this looks like when I hit okay and click away. So there we go, there's the appetizers heading that we have created. Now once I've created that I can then start to go through and fill out the rest of this using that style. So for instance, right up here at the top, specialty pizzas, we'll put menu heading there. How it works, menu heading. CYOP prices, menu heading. Sandwiches and more, menu heading. And let's scroll back through here, also on the wine and beverages list we're actually going to create our own little heading for this information down here, so we'll work on that a little bit later on, 'cause there's some more stuff that needs to be changed in there as well, but for the most part that's all of the basic headings that we need. So now let's continue on with a new one. So our next one is going to be where we go in and we choose our menu items. So what that actually looks like when we are looking at these menu items, like breadsticks, et cetera. So let's go down here and let's just change all of these at one time. You don't have to do them all at once, but I'm just going to. That way you can see an entire thing change. So here is a new paragraph style one, double-click on there, this one we're going to call this menu items. We're gonna go down to basic character formats here and basic character formats we're gonna change the font family, and so in this case we're gonna use the body copy font we chose earlier, which is of course Museo Sans. So Museo Sans. We're gonna choose a weight of 300, which is not quite bold, but not light either. And once we do that we're gonna choose 14 points as the font size. And then we're gonna go down to indents and spacing and we're gonna give it a little bit of space before, so one click before and one click after just to spread it out just a little bit. And so once we're done with that we're gonna leave it, everything else is fine, and we're gonna hit okay. So that's our new style for that. We're gonna go ahead here and apply that to several different areas. So we'll go ahead and apply it here, menu items. And if it overflows that's perfectly fine, we can fix that later by going and increasing the size of this box. And if we need to we can actually make a change to this as well. So for instance I could come over here and just override the style and knock that down to 13 points, making it a little bit easier. So a little bit of cheating, but in that case it makes sense. So let's go here and let's make this change with the menu items text. Again, if it goes off you'll see the overflow, but in this case it fits perfect. Let's go here, menu items. That looks good. Grab my selection tool. And so here, we can go in here and we can start making those changes to this, but I have another plan for that in just a second, so let's leave that alone for now. Let's go back here and let's select all of this and let's turn this into a menu item. So let's grab everything from red wine all the way down and do menu items that way. There we go. Okay, so we've got that style pretty much set up. Now let's work on the specialty pizzas, 'cause this has a lot of different things going on. It's got a heading across the top, it's also got subheadings underneath there, and it's got descriptions. So we want to change this up just a little bit. Okay, so here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna go in and we're gonna select right here where it says small, medium, and large, and what I want you to do now is I want you to create a brand new style, double-click on this style, and we're gonna call this style pizza heading. Let's go in and let's make some changes to this. So basic character format here, what we're gonna do is we're going to change this to Museo Sans, same as the body copy, but we're gonna make it contrast a little bit. So Museo Sans. We want this to be about 18 points, and we want it to be 700. Significantly heavier than the other ones that we used before. So once we do that we're gonna go down to indents and spacing, we're gonna give it a little space before and a little space after. And that way it's got a little bit more breathing room there. And once we're done we're gonna go ahead and hit okay. So there's my small, medium, and large heading. Now we're gonna base the style for the heading here off of that style and we do that by selecting first pizza heading, so there we go, but we're gonna create a new style from that, so paragraph style one now and double-click on that. It's gonna give us most of the parameters we need, but we wanna turn of the based on, because we don't wanna inherit anything. So now we call this one pizza description heading. And in this one we're gonna change the basic character format. Just dial this down to 16 points, something like that. And once we have that done we'll go ahead and hit okay. And there we go. So now we'll go through and apply this to the different pizza headings, so right here the house pizza gets a pizza description heading. Pesto, pizza description heading. The big Hawaii, the plant lover, and finally the buffalo wings. So there we go with that. And then the last part is the descriptions. So let's select one of them here. Create a new paragraph style, and this paragraph style here what we're gonna do is we're going to choose, again, basic character formats, Museo Sans. We want this to be 300 italic. And then we want the size to be 10 points. So once we have that done we're also going to increase the leading just a little bit, so many one click up just to increase it, space it out. You can kind of see what I'm working with here when I do that. See how it just kind of increases the leading just a little bit. And so once we increase the leading we'll also go to indents and spacing, add a little bit of space to this after, just to give it a little bit more breathing room. And then once we do that we're gonna go down to character color. We're not changing the color, we still want it to be black, we're gonna change the tint though. And so the tint here we're gonna change that to be about 85%. Now what does that mean? That basically means we're taking some of the color out of it and making it semitransparent. So it's gonna look grey, but it's still printing black. So once we do that we'll hit okay, and there we go. Now we take this and we just apply this new paragraph style one, which we need to go in there and change the name of that by the way, so I'll just call this description. There we go. Now we'll fix this and description here. Description there. One more time here. And finally, right there. And so now that looks pretty good. Don't think that the color came through like it was supposed to. So let's go to character color here and the tint did not get recorded, so let's go through here and just change that to 85%, hit okay, there we go. And that just kind of lightens it up, gives it a little bit of contrast there. So it looks pretty good. If you still see that it's not showing up with the tint you can change the tint up here at the top as well, so you can go down here and you can find it, but the tint is registering now, so it looks pretty good. Alright, so let's zoom out now and there we have it. We have all of our stuff styled. Obviously we're missing somethings like tabs and indents and things like that that we need to correct, but, oh, look at this. We forgot totally about the back page here. Let's do this before we quit. Let's go back here, select this text box. First thing I want you to do is fill this text box with a color. The easiest way to do that is to select right up here and give it the paper background. So there, that makes it a little easier. Then we're gonna go up to the object menu, choose text frame options, and we're gonna give this a little bit of a padding. So what we're gonna do here is we're gonna go inset spacing, about a quarter of an inch. Hit preview, so you can see what that's gonna look like, and hit okay. If that's not registering that means you don't have it selected. So go back out, select it, object, text frame options, and use the inset spacing, there we go, now we're getting it. Something kind of like that. Hit okay. Now the last thing I'm gonna do here is I'm gonna go in and create a new style for the heading. So we're gonna go down here to the styles, hit new, paragraph style one is created, double-click that, and we're gonna call this beverage heading. Once we do that we're gonna switch it up a little bit. Go to basic character formats, change this to Clavo. That's one of the ones that's one of our accent things that we chose earlier. Gonna go regular if you have it in there, if you don't choose light in this case. So once we do that we're gonna bump this up to 16 points. And let's see what we're looking at. That looks pretty good. So now let's make sure that basic character formatting, character color, okay, everything's good there. Let's take the tint back up 100%. And let's add a rule to this, so paragraph rules, rule below, turn it on, and we're gonna make sure that this has a little bit of an offset in it. And the color of the rule, let's change that to maybe the dark red. There we go. And now let's hit okay. And that should be pretty good for our wine list on the back. So now everything is styled up, we've got all of those styles saved in our styles panel, so anytime we need to make changes to them we can do so and it'll update throughout our document. Or if we need to add more pages later on it makes it super simple to style anything we might add to this in the future as well.
